STORY
Dawnfall is a modern fantasy visual novel that follows a young man about to start his university life, unaware that secrets tied to his past and destiny are slowly awakening. Vampires, witches, and angels aren’t just stories... they exist, hidden within a delicate balance that’s beginning to crack. As a member of a secret organization called Veilkeepers, Rex will be forced to face not only the darkness stirring beneath the surface… but also the truth of who he really is. Your choices will shape fate, maybe even the fate of the world.

I loved the game so far, but having the font on the games page being all caps makes me read every comment as if everyone is yelling lol

Bro, the characters you made are awesome, and the main character is so damn cool. The rendering is also amazing. Your modeling really hits my aesthetic, just like 'Rats Love Rice.' This counts as the game I’m most looking forward to. I want to ask, when will version 0.3 be updated?
I’m thinking the release date for Patreon will be around the end of August, and I’ll make the public release on Itchio about 20 days after that, but August isn’t definite because I ran into a lot of issues while working on this update. So the Patreon release might get pushed back to September, but I’ll do my best to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I don't have a Russian translator at the moment, so it's not really possible right now
I like the art and story, I'm okay with it but can I avoid lesbian content :?
There won't be any lesbian scenes in the game, but the girls may interact with each other during threesomes.
The animations the poses are amazing story is great so far cant wait to see what's in store

I love the way the characters interact with each other. i hope as this project goes on they'll be more fleshed out and be much more endearing! i'm seeing the vision and i think this can be on par with other well known avns out there. the story grabbed me by the balls and i love it despite not being a masochistic degenerate, i love all things werewolves, witches and vampires! i appreciate you and the work you do! god speed!
This one took me by surprise. I found it pretty randomly and was drawn in by the character models and genuinely enjoyed every second of it, but it does feel like there are some pretty glaring pacing issues.
Outside of that, the characters are great, distinctive (and hella hot) and the story is so far pretty interesting, the comedy bits dont feel forced or cringey, the music is nice and the set pieces are well done... it also has vampires so fuck yeah

amazing game so far, love it. But i'm super confused why MC is getting blamed for what happens to rosaria. doesn't make any sense. in fact i'd say harper is more at fault considering she was with rosaria and let her go off on her own. Also why was mc able to easily kill all the vampires in the beggining of the game, then after he gets a power upgrade he gets his ass beat by a couple freshly made vamps? the power scaling is all over the place
As Zariel explained, the seal functioned as a pact and provided magic to the main character, but with the seal's gone, the pact no longer exists, meaning the magic is gone too.
Moving on to the other part, Harper got annoyed that the main character always acted impulsively on his own without telling anyone else.
Did you make this font yourself? Why is the only difference between cases curlys (s-S)(a-A)(m-M)(e-E)?

建模也挺好的 除了故事上面有些不明所以的东西好像中文翻译是不是也有一些小小的问题 大部分还是能懂的

有一个角色好像是双性恋但是他被露西拒绝了 不过露西也真可爱
画廊里面最后一个角色其他之前 那角色好像见过但是没提到他是谁 目前也没玩完等看后面能不能告诉她是谁

游戏真的太棒了
There is a lot to like in what has been released so far, a really solid foundation of what could be a potential powerhouse in the AVN world. It just needs a bit of polish in a few places. There are times where scenes or dialogue feel rushed because they start or end abruptly and aren't allowed to breathe or establish themselves. It makes some parts hard to follow because it reads like list of bullet points instead of a cohesive narrative. Improving the prose even just a little bit could really elevate the story to read more naturally instead of like a run on sentence. Otherwise I like everything I see here, the girls look great, setting and renders are well done and there looks to be a solid depth to the story, just don't rush to tell it.
I agree with the above, the pacing sometimes feels a bit rushed. Just by breaking up the dialogue a bit it would a) read more naturally, and b) stretch the length of the content without being filler-y.
Also, sometimes things are mentioned and the responses feel a bit ... non-plussed? Like, I would imagine someone going 'wait, what?' at times, but we just roll on immediately instead.
Ok i just finished episode 2 and it just get better. the girls are hot, the plot is amazing, just keep up with great work, hard to wait for chapter 3.
I just finished playing the 1st ep, and I have to say by far the most impressive game i've played.
Never have I ever rewatched a scene so many times as when I saw Harper, the dynamic camera shot and music definitely take it to another level. I just hope she's romanceable, I'll literally die if she isn't :')
Keep up the amazing work. It’s clear this project has a lot of heart behind it, and as a player, I really appreciate that. Can’t wait to experience more!

This was really good, now I'm wondering when we'd get the next update...
I thought this game looked great, but after playing the first chapter I've realized it's cheesy and the writing is lazy.
Like "oh no, a vampire just kicked me in the chest. Why can't I move?" Oh, it's because the vampire somehow intentionally snapped the MC's neck so he would be paralyzed. But don't worry, I'm sure that will be fine. Can't wait to see how that life changing injury is healed in the next chapter.
On top of that the MC's outfit just looks like a Criss Angel cosplay. and his body looks like it was modeled after a slice of pizza. Why are his shoulders so wide but his hips and legs are so narrow? His body is just two straight lines converging down to one point. Not to mention the stupid-ass cross earring he wears. More edge lord inspiration, I take it?
Anyway, the whole game reads like it was written by a 14 year-old. Sucks, because the graphics are pretty nice and the girls are really well done. I just can't look past the stupid writing and the utterly dumb looking MC. Sorry.
Also, the font for these comments is fucking stupid too. Who the fuck wants letters that link or overlap?
This person is being overly critical. This game only has a great beginning. Its something different that what others put out and the graphics are better than a lot of other games out right now.
So creator, don't get discouraged by someone who is trying to sap the joy out of a personal project because at the end of the day what matters is that you enjoy the story you are building.
This is not constructive criticism but just destructive complaints. HE lost all credibility when he started complaining about the font for the comments.

Game is good. All i really want from it is for each version to be 3 times as long as the first one. take all the time you need dev.
iT WAS ONLY EPISODE 1 BY I GOT INTO THE GAME SO HARD, IT ENDED TO FAST, VERY GOOD GAME, CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT UPDATE.
